OK, I will be the spoilsport here. In addressing Jesse's original question, I have to admit wondering about responses in the same way he did. I could post technical question and get a lot of views, but no responses or no useful information. A week later, some other guy posts the same question and gets a lot of good info. The inconsistencies are beyond my understanding ; especially considering that so many of the smart folks here are consistent visitors. One of life's little mysteries, it would seem.

To the original topic: Funny as it may seem, I think it may have allot to do with the time of day that the topic is posted. I seem to be a little more of a night owl than most and it seems that if I post a question in the late evening or past midnight, the topic gets pushed a couple pages back and people dont see it much. Conversely, if I post a topic in the mid morning or middle afternoon it sees much more traffic. Maybe the smart guys go to bed early lol.
