I need to replace my stock starter on my '70-350 SB; I see that there are 2 improved (mini/hi-torque, lower amp draw) versions currently being used: The 'NipponDenso' style and the 'Hitachi' style.
If I'm right, my understanding is that they both have about the same specs, but they have different solenoid to starter motor assembly styles.
Is there an advantage of one over the other?
Also has anyone used the Sumitt # SUM-G1660?
Thanks again.
