lol i would like to do a complete budget minded motor for my 81 camaro.....ya thinking about doing something super cheap sbc build something that i dont care if it would make it 1 pass down the track.....(and really i think i might build this)

take a very used 350 sbc .060 over, buy some cheap 12.5 to 1 pistons from competion products (there 100 buck claimer pistons) hang them on some reworked stock rods that have been lighten and ground and polished. throw some arp bolts in the bottom end every where, crank scrapper, windage tray rear oil pump baffle. throw in a stock cast crank reground. balance the bottom end. run some 305 ported heads (heavy ported by me with unknown flow numbers) throw in some 2.02/1.60 valves, get the compression around the 14.5 to 15.0 to 1 mark. throw in a solid roller cam from crane 284/290 @ .050 .675/.630 lift on 108. throw on a single plane intake of some sort with at least a 1050 holley. some big tubed headers......run the thing on alcohol with something of about 5500 to 6000 rpm stall. and just rap the *^%@ out of the motor and see what happens. use a 350 tranny and something around 4.88 or 5.13 gears what ever rear end i might have. and if it makes it a few passes bolt on a 250 hp nitrous plate and see what blows first.

i mean just something plain stupid go against everything that maybe one is told. if anything i bet the engine would sound way cool at idle before it blows......

what a story that would be.....but who knows it just might run for awhile. shifting at 9000 rpms.....lol now that would be fun....

To go in my nova??? 502 block, 3.76 stroke crank = 488 cubic inches of ass winding big block. AFR rectangle ports {consult with Tony}, 8:1 compression,an ATI pro charger, a roller cam in the 250's @.050, id be on the street with pump gas. Put a Jerico 5 speed behind it, and a Mark Williams 9" setup. Then you would all feel the rath of my super charged, street acceptable, drive to work, mid 8 second, winding big block AHHHH HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!.....ohhh ok back down to earth. Ill just have to stick with my small block for now..... BUT a man can dream dammit, a man can dream

Basically 66 283's engine in a Camaro with a stick :D
Honest question - will the g-force handle the torque? I know Rob had one but he is a few hundred shy.

Oh, and mine: twin 88mm turbos on a 540 big chief - but streetable.

I doubt it, I just didnt want to go with a synchro-less crash box...

If a Gforce wouldnt work, then Lenco :D
