Have to have comuter car in these times. @ over $4 bucks a gallon with no end in sight, it's even more important, especially for us long distance commuters.

My commuter car get's 31-32 locally, 36-37 on long trips.
As much as I drive my toys and how far i go, I can afford to throw $25 in once in a while. Maybe not as many burnouts though, decent MPG taking it easy, not so good WOT. Ahh, who am I kidding, I can't drive any of my toys and keep my foot out of it!

Just tucked away, not sure what I'm going to do with it. Thing is, I don't need the money and I have the space to keep it. Don't really want to let it go, but I'm having a hard time talkiing myself into keeping it because I know it will mostly sit and I already have one that dose that. Dose not seem fair to the car. I'v though about tearing it apart and racing it, but don't want to spend the $$ or cut up a car that could easily be restored. I think I'll just sit on it for while and see if any offers come in down the road. I would like to maybe let it go and finish the 496 for the '66 and buy a rolling chassis for the '31 model A.

Re:

you get out the rain (street) tires & make sure your wipers work:yes:;)
WTF!!! It's pouring here. I guess I should have worked on the nova last week. Oh well, gonna get a little wet dropping the started out. It croaked.

Mike,
Rainbow sticker....sweet!!!!
I really wasn't looking for a Z-3....just drove by the lot, looked at the cars.....

Keep the Chevelle....you'll regret selling it later.

Mike, I already told you I am going to buy your 70, just give me some time to get a shop. Plus that way I will get the TC discount! :D

Hey Mike your embarrassed of your honda? Damn man I drive a scion box and even raced the box. It does get 34 MPH though:D
It dose get between 32-34 being a 5 speed. Not too embarrassed because its stock and is what is it is, a commuter. Now if it had a wing and a fart pipe on it I would have pushed it off a cliff already.

Zoomies, like top fuel header pipes
Moonies, I understand to be chrome dome hubcaps

That would be great:noway:

We run zoomies on the boats I race, it would be interesting driving on base with it every morning though.
