I have a 9 to 1 427 tall deck bored .060 over for 440 cubic inches. Pistons are the KB Hypers that are a -17 cc domes. Heads are 781's. Has a steel crank, 6.535 rods with a Team G intake and Holley 750.

Would the 60201 be a good choice?

Will it run with stock springs? I have a fresh set on some 781 heads.

This will be in a truck for fun.

Cruising on the road , working on the farm, stuff like that.

It should work just fine; that it what it was designed for. Headers will help, if you don't already have them. Power is from about idle to 5500, and vacuum is good. It improves gas mileage in heavily-laden trucks, like duallies pulling a race car trailer.

Yes. it should. Generally anything up to .535" is OK with stock springs.
Mercury Marine said anything up to .540", I did them a cam series at .530" that worked just fine.
