I'm starting a new LS1 project which will be based on a stock engine, but using the edelbrock carb system ( victor jr ) probably 750-800 carb. will have apprx. 2800 converter, 28" tire, 700r4 trans and apprx vehicle weight of 3000 lbs. gear ratio will be 3.73. cam suggestion would be greatly appreciated. any idea on what kind of power i can expect? everybody feel free to chime in... thanks, chris

Chris,

I have several(actually, over 20 different lobes) I did for an expansion of Lunati's VooDoo line, plus what they already have.
Using 1.7 rockers, 279/283 at the seat, 229/233 at .050, 148/152 at .200, and .571"/.578" valve lift. LSA would be as close to 110 as we can get.
Using 1.8 rockers, 279/283 at the seat, 229/233 at .050, 146/150 at .200, and .578"/.583" valve lift. LSA still close to 110.
We also have 4* bigger exhaust cams, for a little less bottom-end and some more top-end.
All these cams are so new---November---That they haven't given me the master numbers yet. However, they use the exact same ramps as the earlier VooDoo LS1 cams do, and will have similar performance.
For 1.7s, they run from 209 at .050 and .316" lobe lift, to 245 at .050 and .352" lobe lift.
For 1.8s, they run from 213 at .050 and .309" lobe lift, to 249 at .050 and .336" lobe lift.
Since I also have done a LS1 cam for them with .5400" lobe lift, so I am hoping they will allow me to expand the line.

If you have other thoughts on your requirements, let me know......

It should be available now. I send the information in ready to be loaded on the Landis.
All they have to do is download from my E-Mail into the Landis's memory.I will try to find out Monday what the master numbers are and when and if the cams will be ready.

harold, i found a cam (60514) that is very close in spec to what we were talking about but has a 113 LS. is this acceptable or should i wait on the grind numbers for the other? how much benefit will the 110 LS offer?
