Hi guys, I've been looking at the trick flow top end kit from summit. It looks like a steal for 1400 bucks but I wasn't sure about the cam. I will be going on a stock bottom end bored .30 over. Get about 9:1 compression. The kit is rated at 350 horse and 400 torque. I'm sure will it make more but I've seen alot of power with a 268xe cam. Here's the info on the trick flow cam:
Advertised Duration (Degrees): 266 intake/272 exhaust
Duration at .050 in. Lift (Degrees): 210 intake/216 exhaust
Camshaft Lift: .293 in. intake/.302 in. exhaust
Valve Lift with 1.5 Rocker Arms: .440 in. intake/.454 in. exhaust
Lobe Seperation (Degrees): 110
I'll probably be running a 2200rpm converter. I have 2.73's now but will soon be 3.55 gears.
Will this do or should I go witha 268
