I just bought a 68 chevelle, It has a 3.73 rear in it and i want to get more of a higher final ration out of it so i have a bit more take off.
I have a L-60 tires in the back what do they equal in radials,
I have 14's in the front and 15's in the back of american racing rims...

I want to get maybe a slightly smaller tire but as wide as i can go.
What kind of bias ply like micky tomps or just go radial and what size could i get to stay wide but small

A L60-15 is like a 275/60/15 which is approx. 28" tall. You can go with a 275/50/15 which is 26" tall it will make a bit of a difference.
