After painting my artwork should I wait until I pull tape??? Also how long after painting can I wash (with water and a towel) the fresh paint?? My artwork is going over "Water Soluable" mask, which will need to be washed/wiped off after painting.. need too know so I don't mess up the paint..

I know this is not going to help you much, but here goes: The air temperature and humidity will vary the perfect time to pull the tape quite a bit. Can you test on a "throw-away" part using different times to determine the optimum for your area ?? Just a thought.

Thanks.. I think I might have it.. However, it is HOT and Humid here this week.. tech sheet says an hour, I'll wait two..

Issue 2.. Anyone know how good masking tape will hold up in artwork? the tank decided that liquid mask wasn't going to work. so I used 1/16th pin striping, masked the rest with STD masking tape, and plan to shoot.. Is this going to be OK or should I be looking at a different option? Planning to shoot tomorrow evening .....
