If you were referring to my post- I never said it was in "FAIR" condition. Its 25% less than a "fair" condition "price"- and like I said, even that is subjective. The market creates the prices- people are paying that kind of money, so those cars are selling. They arent making them anymore- the supply is "shrinking" for cars with original engines, etc. Heck, the supply is shrinking period.

Same reason why people with Chevys plaster SS this and SS that all over NON SS everything, I suppose. Same game, different "name".
There are other "ways (there are alot of grey areas there too)" to tell if a car has the original engine, tranny, etc. Sight unseen though, its a MAJOR crap shoot. I love Chevrolet, but those Chrysler guys are golden when it comes to this stuff. Those stinking fender tags seem like they have every option/whatever the car came with. Makes it sort of a cut and dry proposition, I suppose. Too bad for Chevy enthusiasts, I guess.
