OK i have a 64 factory 4 speed bucket seat chevelle el camino custom ,, built in van nuys cali. only 200 built.. the rear has 308 limited slip 10 bolt... that needs carrier bearings.. I want to go to a posi 308. what is my best option for this swap. I have a limited funds to do this swap do to i live on a fixed income.. Is there any posts on this on or any chevelle /elko sites that could be step by step..all info is good...

Limited slip and Positraction ARE THE SAME THING!!!!!!
Limited slip is a type of rearend that applies traction to both wheels when one begins to slip, or spin. Positraction is GM's name for the limited slip rearend. If your car has a true limited slip (Positraction) rear and one wheel is NOT gripping when it should, then probably it needs new clutches. :thumbsup:
