A question and a recommendation. Neither the flyer or web site said how this event supports the troops. Being one of the troops, I'm more than just interested. Is the "Support the Troops" just a theme or is there really something behind it, and if so what is it? Responses and support for the event could be enhanced if the web site and flyer actually said what form the support takes. For example $ to the USO, donation to Walter Reed Medical Center etc.

All the money goes to The Family Support Unit of the 111th Fighter Wing of the National Guard at Willow Grove Naval Air Station. Col Steve Sisco and Lt Col Preston Smith.

Just a note. Myself and Northeast Lincoln Mercury take nothing from the money collected for ourselves. We donate all our time, the falcility, the employees overtime and what ever else it takes to put this on. The shirts are sold for $15.00, $7.50 to cover their cost and $7.50 is donated. The $5.00 donation fee per car is donated, 50% of the 50/50 drawing is donated and 100% of donations are donated. I have over $900.00 so far in corparate donations, and about $100.00 from internet shirt sales. If the weather is good, we expect to raise around $5,000.00. Northeast pays for the hot dogs, pretzels, and soda, Band and DJ. Thanx, Ray Jermyn Sr.

Blackhorse Auto Body is bringing their 72' rig and both the Impala and the Thunder Bolt. I'm giving them an area to display the rig and cars.
