I am looking for some self clinching nuts. They install in a hole in sheetmetal and you peen them on the top and they stay in the metal. They are used in the core support a bunch(those little square ones). I believe they are 5/16-18 and I am not concerned about them being square like the original ones since you can't see them. I need to convert my core support over. My car had the HD cooling option and I already changed the little tab on the bottom but I also need to drill holes for the AC condensor and install self clinching nuts. I have looked online and have came up almost empty unless I want 10,000 of them. Thanks

You might check with this company. They have alot of different things and what they don't have they will order for you. I had them order three stainless allen head bolts that I could not find anywhere. They came in a larger quantity but they sold me just the three I needed.

McMaster-Carr has them, They are called nut inserts or nut rivits I believe.

You can also try NAPA or local nut/bolt supplier. Pretty common. Yes they're called Nut-serts or Rivnuts.
