Pull out the glass if needed, go in there and clean it out and treat it with Por, replace any large chunks that may be missing by welding in new metal.
 
After you remove the windshield and clean out the window channel.
If you have small pin holes,some guys have had success with por 15 putty. if BIG holes!
brake out the welder. 64 to 67 have a repair
strip that is welded in. I have not used one but others have with good results.
