I am about to start restoring the interior in my chevelle and am curious as to the easiest way to remove the glue. Any tricks of the trade from the local pros?

Lacquer thinner on a rag - Goo Gone or equivalent on tough spots - MEK on impossible spots.

We hit ours with a cheap harbor freight sand blaster and a fresh coat of primer. Worked well...

I believe my chemical of choice was mineral spirits and a scotch brite pad.
