SAVE YOUR MONEY, throw some baseballs, hard type from a distance of course, When you smack that hive the area will darken with the flight of those pesty bee's, at that time run into the house and watch what happens from the window. If they Hive up again beat the hell out of them with more balls, believe me they will eventually go to a neighbor that don't have the balls to do what you just did.

ok....

THESE BEES ARE SAVAGES!
i swear...

i got a fairly large size rock... and threw it as hard as i could
it took off about 2/3 of their hive...
i was like... ok screw that and i ran and hid in my car to be safe
i threw it about 3-4 feet away... so i ran really darn fast....
all of them threw out, it was scary....
well then like 600 of them jumped to the honey on the floor and started like eating it or something
im like... uhh, im not going out of my car, so i went to a friends house
went back....
THEY REBUILT THE DAMN THING

not a hint of honey on the ground....

this is kinda scary

ok...
erm now that i look at it more
there are THREE hives...

one BIG one... and it is big.. bigger than i imagien it... that hting gives me chills looking at it... it is bigger than a stock th400 converter....

then a smaller one under it, the size of a small block piston, and then another one to the left of it the size of a bbc rod....

and i think you guys are right it must be in the thousands....
cause i remember when i threw the rock at it, the whoel mess of stuff on the ground was covered and theres a small cloud around it flying around and the thing has bees EVERYFREAKINWHERE

i was thinking of using a supersoaker but then i dont htink it is strong enough... and then ic ant use gasoline cause i dont want ot burn the tree and house down....

i will throw more rocks at it tomorrow nad maybe some cast pistons.... i think i might suggest ot my parents to call someone....

mix dawn dishwashing liquid in a chapin sprayer then lightly spray down the hive, don't set the sprayer to squirt, when the soapy water hits the bees they just drop out of the tree dead, I watched my nieghbor do this twice now and we got the africanized bees, I did ask what the thinking is and he told me that the bees just think its raining, so I asked him what if they decide it's not raining, then he said you better be able to run fast, Jim

ok, i am trying that tomorrow....
i think mommy has some dawn soap....
i am probably going to mix it with mister clean and just hose it down

Find some bad child thats been gving you problems, blindfold him and give him a big stick, lead him straight to it and tell him that its a big pinata.. then run like hell :)

You think youve got it bad, my neighbor has approx, 12 bee hive nest in his yard. Every year in the spring they come over to my house for some reason. There will be thousands of them on the back porch. I called him up last year and said, come get your bees. He came down and after looking very carefully, found the queen, or one of the queens. After picking her up the rest followed him back across the field. I couldnt believe it. They havent come over to the house this spring. At least he comes by and gives me a jar of honey every once in a while. As for your problem I would be careful.

Slpin, you really need to call a professional do deal with this especailly if they are africanized bees (and almost all bee hives contain a large amount). Even if your a hundred yards away those things are dangerous and can attack (and kill) neighbors and pets.

This place will sell you the "RIGHT STUFF"
http://www.firefox-fx.com/
All you need is 1 oz of Aluminum - India Black, ground flake (2 micron) HOT!! - Stock #C104 - FS
and mix it with 2 oz of Potassium Perchlorate - High Purity (99.5%+ pure), superfine powder - Stock #C172HP - OX
put it in large paper tube with extra long cannon fuse tape it up and WALLAHA!!!!!! NO MORE BEES TREES maybe enven your house??? depends on if you use all that powder in 1 big container?
Word of CAUTION its works!!

STEP 2:::::: Ok Dude, lets move on here. We now know that rocks are not going to work. Now do what I said and tell mommy to buy you some large soft balls. Start tossing them at a good distance till you smack the Hive again, disappear for a while than come back check the scene out and start over again with fresh soft balls. I'm going to have a few Beers right now so let me know how it turned out, and if we have to will regroup and try it again.

CALL A PROFESSIONAL ALREADY!!!! Bees aren't anything to mess around with! Like a few people have said, if they are regular honey bees they will most likely remove them for free and use them elsewhere. If they are africanized, well, you don't want to be messing with them anyways!

They let Ted Kaczynski out of jail? ;)

Bees: Call a pro. You don't want to mess with this. You may destroy the hive but that doesn't mean you'll get rid of the bees.

At my parent's house they had a bunch that were getting underneath the siding. I put on some heavy clothes and a beekeeper's head net and I blasted them with wasp blaster. I got rid of them, but for months they were dropping into the wash basin in the basement, dead or dying. What freaked me out was the time when I was adding insulation to their attic and I found a bunch. It is a wonder I didn't take the fast route and drop straight through the ceiling!

Normal honey bees do not bother me, but Africanized bees scare me to death!
