I pulled the points out of my '69 and replaced them with Pertronix's new Igniter III with built in rev limiter and it was one of the easiet upgrades I've ever done. No need to pull the distributor and the car lights right up.

I was so impressed that I bought another one and installed it today in my other '69!

Thats great!

Just wondering, does it use stock points wire with 7-9 volts avail whenh under load or did you have to run a new wire for a full 12v to the new igniter 3 ign?

Also, what was hardest part of install if any and approx how long did it take from start to finish?

Thanks..Scott

The wires are already attached to the module. You just have to sneak them thru the housing and crimp ends on them and attach them to the coil.
The hardest part was fishing the wires thru the housing. It was a direct bolt in where the points were and no adjustment at all.
Probably took 1/2 hour total.

Guys,thanks for info!
