morning all,almost ready for paint on my 70 malibu,and having some trouble finding a paint code for a hugger orange.does'nt seem to be an original gm color.was it special?its not an ss,just plain ole malibu,just didnt want to be like everyone else.any help would be greatly appreciated.......also i'm going with a bc/cc system.

Ahh, yes that is my beast! www.dalesplace.com Look under 1969 chevelle monacao(sp?) orange. It has color codes for dupont, PPG and one other one. Worked perfect for me.

Color Code 72. Any paint place cant pull it up almost immediately. It was an SS only color for Chevelles in 69, but I wouldn't call it special.

thanx for all the replies guy's,i appreciate the help,i did find one code it was #65,paint place seems to have matched it up ok,they said it was some name of red i forget,but the guy says the formula is what i'm looking for.so i'll have to trust him i guess,lol.
