will a electric 10 inch 3500 opm orbital buffer work to buff out clearcoat. or would a variable speed polisher be best? thanks

I would recommend a variable speed buffer. You will find that there are to many variables to account for and 3500rpm is going to be to much rpm. I have had best results using speeds between 1200 and 1800 rpm.
