oK Moloko where is it from what does it fit and do they make one for a 67 chevelle? Do you have to weld on your own mount brackets?

I got it off ebay, and yeah they have them for 67's. This one is a 26''x19''. Mounting brackets? My current radiator is held in by zip ties.

Hey Justin, thats the same rad I put in my 65 last winter! I got mine form Dirt Track Thunder here in Iowa though. I think its also the same rad Summit sells as their "universal fit" unit. Take a look at the tanks and see if its engraved with "Northern...", Oh man I can't recall the whole name right now must have a case of CRS (Can't Remember S**t).

I had to cut the lower outlet off and re-weld so it would come straight out rather than angled up like yours is now, the angled outlet made for a funky hose position and interfered with my shroud. Looks alot better with a 90 degree hose to! I also added a weld bung to the bottom of one tank and tapped it for a drain.

Are you going to use elecric fans or a flex fan?

Oh yeah it did, sorry I thought I emailed you. Just FYI, be wary of using USPS again. Last time I shipped something through them it came back shattered :( and they wouldnt honor the insurance on it. Your carb also was very, um, "abused" by them. Its ok though, the throttle linkage was just bent very badly and there wasnt much left of either box. I just took a pair of pliers to it and its all better, but if it would have been something fragile I dont think it would have worked out so well.

Dwayne-
I have a question........would you mind if I asked you who painted your Chevelle that gold color? I think it looks fantastic........and I don't live very far from you. I wouldn't mind going to Statesville....to get a good paint job like that.
Thank you kindly-

Kid,

The color is a factory color...in '70 it was Code 55 Champagne Gold and the same color was called Code 55 Light Gold Metallic in '71. Any paint shop should be able to mix it for you. Mine turned out pretty good for what I paid. It isn't really show quailty, more like a good 10 footer. But thats what I paid for and what I expected. The guys name is Randy McWilliams at McWilliams Collision Repair in Statesville.
He was really great to work with except for a misunderstaning on the stripes. But I'm pretty happy with the results.

It was actually Amye (my wife)who suggested the color. I of course wanted RED, uh, uh, uh. But, I'm glad I went with the Gold. I've never seen another gold Chevelle at any of the local shows we go to, and we get a lot of compliments on the color esp. from women. I think it reminds them of jewelry. :D
