I have the money, am ready to order.
My english speaking is so and so so I prefer emailing.
I´ve written to Marcus and gotten several replies, going back and forth nailing things down.
Now I´m asking for a shipping quote on the 14. october and he says he´ll try to get back to me the next day.

That´s the last thing I heard from him...

I´ve written him 4 times since then and no reply.. I would understand if hes busy, but not answering me and explaining why it takes longer time than I was told ? Not ok :noway:
I also tried calling a couple of times with no success. Anyone knows what´s going on ?
I live on the other side of the planet and are about to trust a company with 3000 of my hard earned dollars plus probably 500-1000 in shipping. This kind of stuff rings a bell for me and makes me nervous.

Anywhere else I should look for a good bang for the buck deal with expertise on giving me a good system for my street Chevelle ?

I just got my order completed from him and some of the items were back ordered due to issue with the 3rd party vender. Since he puts packages together from other venders he is at their mercy sometimes.

I too had difficulty with emails from him but I found out on some phone calls with him that they have ongoing email trouble so that may be the issue.

Called him yesterday and left a message. Received an email from him, so I think we´re back on track. I just have to phone instead of email him I guess. I´m still waiting patiently for a shipping quote, I understand he´s a busy man, but just seems wrong to have to chase down a man to get a shipping quote.
I´m ordering, upper arms, springs, sway bars, currectrac rear arms, shocks, and lee steering box so it´s quite a big order.
Can´t wait to take it for a drive i march/april !

Hi Remi, Did you buy some chrome bucket seat trim from me off ebay? I remember a guy from Norway named Remi buying chrome trim from me. Just wondering? If it was you, let me know. Send me a PM if it was you. Larry

Wierd, I had issues getting him off the phone.... :) Just kidding Marc! I truely appreciate the time and energy you put into the personalized service.

Marc is a very rare breed. I've only met a few people out there like him. He is extreemly knowledgable, and very eager to pass his knowledge on to anyone that asks. He is known here as one of the few Go-To Guys regarding A-body Suspensions and he deffinately takes his time to listen and custom taylor parts and systems to match his customer's requests. There is a down side to this... Since he takes his time with each customer, it's difficult to get ahold of him. He also prefers phone communications (more personal) than E-mail communications.

There are plenty of people that will sell you whatever you want. But Marc takes the time to make sure those parts will acheive your goals.

Deffinately call and talk to him about it.

I had the exact same experience on the phone with him, even with my bad english speaking. He was real patient with me, and explained stuff in detail. Not trying to sell me more stuff than I really need or anything, just advise on how I could get the most out of my ride. :noway:

Please don`t misunderstand me, I didn`t post this thread to bash either him or the company. I got an email from him again today. No shipping quote yet, but he says he`s working on so that`s good enough for me for now.

Only one thing to do then - buy another car to stuff the suspension parts into. ;)

I was in the same situation, where I could air freight a complete engine for less than I could sea freight a hood scoop...

Would rather use money on parts then UPS that´s for sure :) Then of course these suspension parts are a huge outley for me money wise right now, so it´s more of a dream situation than reality.. I´ll have to find something cheaper..

I had to UPS a brake pedal to France, $15 for the parts $45 to ship the thing!!!!! 3 times the price of the part to ship it there and I got corporate discount rate. After selling parts to folks out of the US I decided not to do it again. More time was spent on the ^&$$*^$* customs papers then anything else.

Send an email to Ship-A-Long. Their prices are good.
I paid 935nok ($155) to get two 3” Pypes Exhaust systems with mufflers to Norway.
Ship-A-Long calculate their shipping cost from actual size of the boxes and not the weight.
For one cubic meter they charge 1050nok ($175). They ship from St. Augustine FL.
This is by sea freight.
But $2600 still seems a lot for some suspension parts. I got a big engine box filled whit heavy engine parts from Mike Lewis (Wolfplace) in California. I paid $750 for that to Gardemoen Norway by air freight.

I am still trying to contact sc&c have sent about 5 emails WTF who else over ther sells the parts they do. want adjustable top arms and chassis mount rear swaybar to suit 67 any suggestions on a supplier or if any one at sc&c read this please return email 250custom@gmail.com
Summit Racing sells SPC Performance parts (adjustable upper arms), but I will attest to Mark's personal service and contribution to the A-Body world. He may be hard to reach, but when you do... good luck soaking in all the info he will give you. I seriously have a pad and paper ready when I call, both with questions and for the info that I get. I'm all about supporting the "little" guy vs going big box store. Call Summit and ask them about Chevelle suspension geometry... hahahaha.
