I got permission from the owner of the car they used in the movie Two Land Blacktop to use a picture of the car for a clock. Problem is the picture that I got is too small. When I go to blow it up for printing (8x10) it becomes distorted. Is there anyone out there that can use photoshop ,or something like it, to edit the picture and make it larger? (While still keeping clarity) I need the picture to be 8x10.

If you can do it please shoot me a PM, and then I will send you the file I've got. :beers:

That must be him, Jerry. I know his first name is Walt. I didn't know his last name. From the pictures I saw they did a very good job on the car.
 
Extremely good job, not too many guys would have taken it to the extreme that he did. He actually worked with the original builder of the car, Richard Ruth, to reconstruct the front frame horns, straight axle, and custom built fenderwall headers! The fiberglass doors were gone when Walt purchased the car so he followed a lead and found them on a derelict racecar in piss pour condition, bought them and rebuilt most of the doors around the surviving pieces. The car retains it's Universal Studios camera mounts on the rear frame! Sorry, I ramble when this subject comes up because that movie probably was the most influential towards my motorhead mentality. So much so that I built a clone....

I read the story about the restoration of the car. Very good work. I bet it's a blast to drive.

Very nice work on your car too. Does it have the Rock Crusher in it? :D
 
Nope, I ran an M21 for awhile until I got the clutch dialed in for 6500rpm launches and I had no faith in the M21 holding together so I bought a Jerico road race 4spd. It's got true straight cut gears and whines just like the M22! By the way it is a LS6 block with a steel 427 crank and runs low 11's. :D

Niiiiice. You've officially got me jealous. :)

I want to build a '55 as soon as I've got my Chevelle done. It wont' be an exact replica of the Two lane car, but it will be a built to go fast mean '55 two door post. :D

It'll definitely be a 454, M22, 9" car.
