I never did find out. Did Earl ever get to finish his list on that show to end it? Seemed it was just cancelled without warning. I never heard of any sort of final episode or anything.

It was canceled without warning. Even the cast was suprised. I loved that show.

cancelled , very strange final episode, ended just like the sopranos, hadnt a clue what was happening., it was a brilliant show esp the mexican cleaner/dancer, she was hot hot hot..:thumbsup:

that show was good in season 1, then kinda started going to hell in season 2, and then i only caught a few episodes here and there after that.
i guess Hollywood can only milk a few seasons worth of plotlines out of ******* America.
Jason Lee has a show coming out on TNT, i think, where he plays some sort of a hip police detective that drives a 67 Chevelle..

Memphis Beat is the new show. So far its OK but a little disappointing,so far no Chevelle to be seen but he DOES drive a '64 GTO.

My biggest complaint with Memphis Beat is Jason Lee. He seems so one dimensional that he's pretty much 'Earl' as a detective without the mustache. Same mannerisms, same voice and pace, etc. Maybe I'm expecting too much??

67 Malibu w/SS hood.

I thought I saw in a trailer on TV a shot of him driving (something) and the horn button was either a Pontiac or a 64/65 Chevelle. Didn't register until it had passed to rewind and take another look though, just stuck me as something wrong...

Well he drives a Blue '64 GTO on the show so that may have been the horn button that you spotted.

I just finished watching it. Looks more like a Tempest with a blacked out grille and GTO hood, didn't see any GTO badges on it.

So I wonder who owns the 67 Malibu that's on all the trailers? Does the Pontiac get wrecked at some point and he gets a new car or does the Malibu belong to someone else?

The My Name is Earl episodes are available on Netflix instant queue if any of you get Netflix instantly. I'm watching them now and I recently finished season 1. Great Show!!
