BODY { BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff; FONT-FAMILY: arial,sans-serif; COLOR: black; FONT-SIZE: 10pt}P { MARGIN: 0px} I am restoring a 1977 Elky. I want to lower the front-end. How would you suggest I do that? When I was a kid..some 50 years ago, we would simply put our cars up on the rack and either cut the coils or heat the springs until they collapsed. I know this is the WORST thing to do but as kids we didn't know any better and we just HAD to be cool you know!
My understanding is that I have two choices...dropped spindles or "dropped" springs. Am I correct? And if so which one would you recommend? Would a 2" drop be noticeable? If you cannot answer my questions could you refer me to some expert on the subject?
Thank you so much...John Murrill
