Hello, I have what I was told is an original L78 Chevelle. Who's to know for sure however. The car was sold new in Amarillo Texas, and then made it's way to Happy Texas, and finally made it's way to KY where I bought it less engine and trans. Car was built in Kansas City MO. The car is a real deal SS Monaco orange 4 speed car with the single fuel line. The partial vin number is as follows, K369437

I would sure love to reunite this car with it's original 396 engine and 4 speed transmission.

Please check your 396's if you could. I'd be super greatful!

Thank you, Shahreyar

Shay you have a better chance of hitting the powerball...good luck though. Free bump

you'd have better luck tracking down the original owner and asking him what he did with it, I would think

Contact the Zodiacar specialist..he is a mind reader that will talk to your car and determine where the original engine is and if it is real or not.

"I am getting a vision..this car started life as a 350 2 bbl car" ;)

I think it would make a great reality show :D

Shah, maybe these guys would stop teasing you if you posted the last 4 or 5 vin #s

If you really want it, you'll have to do some detective work. In Texas you can request a full ownership history of a car. They have supplied me with TONS of invaluable information on my cars. Since your car came from Texas, you can fill out this form,

http://www.dot.state.tx.us/txdotefo...ppID=/vtr&fileID=1233334&status=/reportError.jsp&configFile=WFServletConfig.xml

Check off Option 2
Mail money order for 5.75 and recieve the previous owners names
Track them down, and find your engine.
