Hello Forum!
I came here, because I need a very specific part for my '71 Chevelle. Problem is, I am a German living in Chile trying to buy US parts with limited technical and language skills. That's language barrier squared plus x.
I managed to import a refurbishing kit for the 3-Speed Saginaw, but it turns out the poor box had been run low on oil for probably 10 or 20 years, so one of the gears has had it. There's probably a reason why classics here are dirt cheap: Getting parts is near impossible.
Could some kind forum member please point me in the right direction to find the two parts resembling the gears between first gear and reverse?
I've attached a pic as proof that yes, they do still have some Chevelles left in Chile.
