It was overdue that I install a Water Temp gauge. It just came in the mail today, so I started looking for somewhere to put it. It's a 2 5/8 gauge, so you can imagine the trouble I had trying to find a place to put it in my 68. Luckily I have an A/C car! All the A/C stuff is missing, so I figured I might as well put the gauge in the vent hole. It's a pretty good fit! I like it there...

Now... I just need to figure out a place to put a 2 5/8 oil pressure gauge... Hmmm...

Hey that's not a bad place for it. What you need is a rotating gauge like those billboards that change, so you can have all three gauges in teh same hole!

you know thats not such a bad idea :D ... there really isn't any place to mount guages in a 68 without butcher'n the dash.... maybe thats one of the reasons the factory guage package cost so much !!

Looks good, Jason. When you bringing that ride down to Champion Dragway and run it?
Sean, hopefully I'll be able to get it down there sometime next month. I just finally got posi, and some low gears, and I'm in the process of installing a new intake manifold. Do you go down there a lot now? I was just down there for the medford cruise night at the drags, but I was racing my friends 70 Ranchero.

How close are you guys to Phoenix OR. I have a girlfriend that lives there and am planning a trip to see her later this summer.
I'm probably about 25 minutes away from Phoenix. You bringing your Chevelle when you come?

I'm there about every other weekend. It's tough to do with work. I try to make it as much as possible. I didn't got on Medford cruise weekend. Had to work. Hope you can make it down. Gauge install looks good!

chevyguy, I'm about 40 minutes west from the track, in Grants Pass.
