No more 138 in the VIN so how can you tell for sure? I am interested in a nice 69, but don't wanna pay SS $ if it is not.
Yep. '69 two door post sedans with the SS package. Slightly uncommon.Simple... Because the SS was no longer a stand alone mode, it was just an option that could be ordered on any 2 door... No need for a separate 138.

I am sure GM never even thought people would be worried about people verifying a used car... Afterall, what is the REAL value (Value of the parts, not the subjective value of the model) difference between a near-perfectly executed "tribute/clone" and the real thing? Except for a "collector", why should any car with a 396 be worth anymore than a similar car with a 396?
