we have turned 101-102 MPH and ran 13.40's with a small block Olds 355...3310 had the short yellow spring.
Cam was a Bullit grind 233/241 @ .050 .499/.499 110 LSA 10" 3800 stall and 3.73 gears
Car was about 3800 lbs. with a 300 lb. driver :D

Not a small block, but I went 9.77 @ 145 in my BBC bracket FED. I used a stock 3310 Holley on a 454 station wagon motor, Crane Blazer cam, Basset Headers, 'Glide and a 3.91 rear axle.

Car weighs about 3200#.

1962 327/300 HP engine (now 395" give or take)
3.85" stroker crank, 9.5:1 compression,
1962 #461X heads w/ 2.02/1.60 valves, with a little clean-up work
Camonics reground solid F/T cam .520" I/E (with a 1.6 rocker) 236* @ .050", 284* adv, on a 112* LS
Wieand Airstrike
Carb Shop 3310 750 vac sec with choke tower milled (tall yellow spring, jetted 74/82, no power valve)
700R4, 1800 stall, 3.70 posi, 235/70/R15 Radial TAs
Best 1/4 mile 13.17 @ 108.XX at California Speedway

With a low rise Wieand 8120 intake, and a 3.36 Posi, car went 13.37 @ 107.60 at Beechbend Race Park.

I think the elevation was higher at Californai Speedway. Temps were in the 90s both days. CA Speedway hot and dry. Beechbend hot and humid.

u guys have the check ball in or no?

My 70 chevelle went high 11.90s with a 3310 with the 405sbc motor in my sign. I tried using a hp950 and they both ran within a couple of hundreds and the same mph in back to back runs.

WOW with your Mph you should be running high 12's. that said I ran 12.80 @ 103mph at dragway 42 with a 600cfm 4010 vac sec holley with stock jets and stock spring and stock 30cc acell pump. on an open plane intake see sig to see best N/A time with same carb and no other changes at norwalk or summit Motorsports park as it is called now. enough said.

I had a 67 Camaro 331" 4 spd 5.57 gears run 12.00 with no traction at 117 mph shifting at 7500 I thought I was bad back then. Now I know I'm bad wish I was younger:D

Combo in sig.....With the 3310 Holley I went 12.04 at 112.3. I used the second lightest spring with the check ball/stock pump cam. I did a rear metering block conversion and jetted it 74P/84S.

Ron,
Sounds like it is well dialed-in

Bone stock L79 in a '65 Chevelle, 3.31 gears: 14.93 @ 91mph. ;)

I noticed no difference with or without the check ball, Holley very much strongly suggests NOT removing the check ball. I was running the stock spring when I logged the time slip noted above, I've since switched to the yellow spring. I don't know if that would net any better ET, but it feels smoother on the street.

Yeah...its a great working little carb. I might pull my Prosystems HP950 off for street use and swap my 3310 back on. It gets better milage and feels better in the lower rpm's....2000-2500 range. But when its track time I will put Mr HP950 back on for max ET.
