I don't think the collector is the low point on the Hookers. At least on mine it is the individual runner pipes just below the elbow bend that have grind marks on them. And my El Camino is not even lowered
I had super comps on my 67 with 2" drop springs. they are scraped up pretty good. Then I was going to a show and the road crew decide to leave 20 foot section of road unpaved with no warning signs about the 6" drop arround the next bend in the road. That flattened my tubes and buckled my milodon oil pan.
noun
Definition: expression with contradictory words: a phrase in which two words of contradictory meaning are used together for special effect, e.g. "wise fool" or "legal murder" i.e; anything lowered w/hooker super comps:noway:
I had 1" dropped Hotchkis with Bilsteins, 2 1/8" Super Comps on my '70 Elky. The headers fit with no problems, but you'll scrape them if you aren't careful.
I scraped 'em when I was running 1 3/4" Blackjacks!
my headers hit bad.I have moroso drag springs with 1 coil cut out. i am putting in different springs.the headers fit good though
