Help with 4L80e torque converter lockup

Looking for some help/advice.

Going with a full manual shift 4L80 and a 10" triple disk converter (wanted WOT lock up capability) and want to use a steering wheel mounted push button switch.

My idea of what I want (other opinions welcome):
- Momentary on push button activated & deactivated (using a transbrake button)
- Brake light circuit deactivated

Looking for a way to lock/unlock with a push button with a brake activated unlock. Don't want to have to reset the process with a on/off toggle or other device.

Is there a latching relay that the momentary switch will toggle regardless it's current on/off state? This may be the easy part if I can find the right relay...

Then there needs to be a way to unlock with brake application (but not just toggle the relay or it would then lock if it were unlocked before the brake was applied).

Hope I got the idea described/outlined.

Thanks in advance
Allen

Kind of a bump and more info.

I found a step (flip-flop, impulse) relay that would work great with the steering wheel momentary on switch but it won't do anything for the desire to have the brake disengage the torque converter clutch (and leave it off until I push the button again). I could interrupt with the brake switch but as the relay is latching it would lock back up when I let off the brake.

If I can't figure something out, maybe I'll go this route and just put an obnoxiously bright warning light on the dash.

seek out "jakeshoe" ...he designed a manual control setup for retail sales. I suspect there a number of ways to accomplish lock up, depending on computer/wiring design
