I was scraping down the inside of my drivers door a few days back, and when I went to lock her up, the cylinder that the key slides into was popped out. I struggled with it till it got dark, and know that its not properly secured. As it sits now, as soon as I slide my key in, the whole assembly just pops out. What do I need to do to secure the lock properly? Is there a part missing?
If I pull the cylinder out, i can reach in with my finger and unlock the door by pushing the tab up... IDK if I'm making any sense, or if you might actually understand what I mean.
PLease give me some pointers. I can take some pictures if it would help, just let me know. Thanks in advance.
