I decided yesterday that it's time for a new tank since mine has some small pinhole leaks in the seam that I can't find
, and there is now a coat of varnish on part of my tank.
I figured since I have bigger plans for the car in the future, that I would go ahead and open up my wallet a little more and redo some other parts of the fuel system while I was at it.
Here are my questions.
How hard is it to run a new 1/2" hard line from the tank to the pump?
If I have bigger plans for the car, should I put a sump in the tank now while it's fresh and out of the car? or wait til later down the road?
Can you recommentd a good one with 1/2" fittings?
I'll take any hints, tips, or advice you guys feel like giving. Right now I'm gathering a parts list, and probably won't tackle this for a week or two.
