That 270 cam is pretty mild. Why not just buy the springs Comp suggests and install them.

I believe they are Comp 911's which are a single with damper???

OK, installed all of them last night. Took about 6 hours wife was not happy about me and the kid being out in the garage until midnight :)

Much better, the old springs were about 1/8 or more inch shorter than the new springs when I compared them side by side so that makes me think my seat pressure was not quite where it needed to be. Quieter too, no more vibrations and rev's cleanly and smoother overall.

I put about 10 miles on it today, will pull both valve covers and redo lash just to make sure this afternoon as it was getting late last night and want to double check my work.

Question, the new springs are a larger diameter and the retainers that were re used are about 1/16 of an inch sloppy is this going to be an issue? In other words they are not centric to the spring but close.
