I was looking for a some floor pans for my 1971 Chevelle and took a look at a few different places that sell them and noticed a few differences in price. When I was looking at OPGI the prices for floor pans were significantly higher but when I looked at the prices from Ecklers Chevelle they were a bit lower. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with floor pans from these places and how they are if they are very thin from ecklers and don't compare to OPGI or what. Any info would be great thanks!

I just started working on My Chevelle and had this same question. After a month of calling around and hunting for answers on the net almost everyone gets their sheet metal from the same places except a few like Year One. I cant remember the rest. I bought my trunk pan, bottom quarters and tail pan from Ausley's Chevelle. They fit very well. I ordered them and they took them to the local swap meet for me to pick up. Saved me a bunch on shipping and they even rounded off the price when I got there saving me another $20 bucks. They are great guys. OPG gets there's from the same place as Ekler's and Ausley's by the way.

I got full floor w/rockers and braces for my 69 from ecklers. shipped direct from dynacorn. Excellent piece and Nick in customer service is a real stand up guy. I request him every time I order.

I heard that ground up doesn't have the dynacorn piece, they have a chinese knockoff which is why their piece sells for so much less. Last I heard from Dynacorn they haven't sold that piece to ground up but I did not speak to them directly.

Joe is right on. For me it came down to cost and value. For a SS396 that will have 20k plus ending value I would def recommend spending the money. For my little malibu that won't break 10k I took the cheap route. I still must say though for both my floor and trunk i havent seen any issues with shape, punch outs, rust, or anything.

You want to use Dynacorn no matter where you get it from. Dynacorn has better attention to detail especially on the floor and trunk.
