100 percent feedback, I wonder how much he charges for a VIN search, It seems if you are making the sheets you would have a list of every VIN as not to get burned on one of your own docs. when purchasing a classic car.

I don't like the idea from a resto standpoint, but I would like to get one for my car when it's done. I think it would be fun to see how many people would see my buildsheet and notice the RPO L31 engine with wrong year color codes and wrong year seats, etc.

I notice he doesn't show a close-up picture of any of the sheets....

I do think reproduction Window Stickers have there place in the hobby though. I had a repop bogus Window sticker on my car. You'd have to be a 6th grader to think it was original being a crisp bright White, but you'd be amazed at the attention it drew from spectators at shows. They loved looking at the price of the car when new. It's a nice touch and conversation detail that the crowd enjoyed.

one of my favorite comments was from a Woman to her Husband asking in amazement why somebody would keep a Window sticker on a car for 40 years :D

Chemically aging them to look original for the purpose of decieptfull authentification is a different animal altogther though.

People DO enjoy the paperwork. At shows people spend as much time or more looking at our GM of Canada paperwork as they do looking at the car. The 300 Deluxe interior really throws them. For shows the reproduction stuff is fine but you just know what it is going to be used for with all the unscrupulous people that are out there. Kind of sad.

These are strickly novelty-period. Anyone who would accept this as documention is just plain stupid. People do like looking at this junk and for that purpose there is no harm. without a build sheet or pop or original bill of sale, etc you basicly have no real docs.:yes:

WTFH?????

If you wanted a build sheet for a novelty item you would not pay someone $225. He has a lot of time into these and knows exactly what there used for. I hope when someone with big money finally get's burned by these docs and the people using them they sue there **s's off.

It's nice to know that there are a lot of people on this forum that know more than this guy.

I am going to look into the legality of his disclaimer that they are novelty item that is used for fraud.

The first link is for a window sheet-thats what my reply was for!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People who are purchasing these fake buildsheets fail to realize that this person is most likely keeping a data base of VIN's with every sheet produced. Valuable information indeed, it begs the question, what is that worth = priceless.

These fake sheets have been around for a while and they have screaming flaws in them, that even I can recognize. I've seen a lot of so called, high end, not so correctly done cars with them at the auctions over the last year or so, in the WPB and FT. Lauderdale area. For anyone even considering spending on a high dollar car it would be prudent if you could post a picture of the build sheet here and let the Real pros take a look at it. One of which I am not, but others here are and I would trust their judgement any day of the week.

As was mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I was referencing your intension I would have used the quote option!!!!!
I dont get it chris?- sue someone for having a novelty window sheet that looks brand spanking new? If a buyer is really that stupid than they have more money than brains.

People must have too much $, when you can do it yourself.
A pic from the 07 CAN-AM northern gathering.:D
