Ive been trying to spray black epoxy primer on my car. Here in oklahoma we have between 60-70% during the day and 75-85% during the night. Does the humidity effect the epoxy primer much and how much should I thin it?
The sheet says 4-1-1 and it came out like bed liner.

If your epoxy says to reduce with one part reducer then reduce with 1 part reducer.
Most epoxies spray best with a 1.4 tip paint gun. What type of gun are you using and what tip size?
Too big of a tip and you wont break up the paint properly. Instead of a mist you get a water hose effect.

Do you have the gun adjusted right? Enough air pressure, too little or too much fluid?
Not enough air pressure wont break up the paint. Too little amount of paint wont provide enough material to get a good wet coat.

Making sure you have the right gun tip size and the proper settings is far more important then humdity.

Your gun should be about 6-8 inches from the surface. When you pull the trigger you should get a even wet pattern from top to bottom.
