I have a holley 4150 HP1000 on a 496 with aluminum rect port heads. The motor runs on slightly at shutdown and re-starts take a little effort. I have an MSD Ignition with a 1 wire alternator, timing is set at 18 deg idle, and it idles at 900-1000 rpms. Doesn't like to idle any lower even when warm...
Anybody know what the problem might be here? I recently reset my idle mixture screws to 1-1/2 turns out. They were about 3/4 turns out... Lean maybe?? Smells rich at idle though...
Thanks,
Josh
