Hey Guys,

Looking at a truck it's a 72 the motor in it has these numbers on it any idea what this motor is or out of possibly.

Block - 14093638 / also has GM 5.7 L8 on the casting

Heads - 14102193 casting numbers between the valves

It's a 350 CID block which was used from 1987 through 1995 (so it has the one piece rear seal). You'd need the Casting Date off the block to determine what particular year it's from and then the stamping off the ledge in front of the right (passenger) side head. That code should indicate its original use and whether it's a 2 or 4 bolt main engine.

As far as the heads I found this after a brief web search: "Those heads are total junk and not worth $200. Those are probally (sic) some of the worst heads for a performance application made."
