Hi all! New to the forum. I recently purchased a 1968 Chevelle SS that needs a little work. First problem I'd like to tackle is that it likes to stall if not being rev'd. It'll idle briefly around 900rpm then die. I'd like to check the timing on it but can't figure out how to if the engine doesn't stay idling. Thoughts?

Turn your idle up a little.

You have a helper? Get them to work the throttle by hand at the carburetor. It's easy a kid could do it.
