First, yes, I know this has been asked thousands of times, however, I'm on vacation and doing searches from my iPhone and not coming up with any good info. I have a 70 396 BBC car motor sitting between the fenders of my 71 Chevelle. I have zero accessory brackets, and am almost broke with my toy budget. I've checked all my local junk yards, but have come up empty handed. Can anyone suggest WHERE to purchase a very inexpensive set of engine accessory brackets for my motor to at least get me on the road? I am only looking for P/S, Alt, brackets, and crank and wp pulleys. Not hooking up AC right now, so not necessary. Most of the stuff I see is a couple hundred bucks for those, which seems a little high to me. I'm very open to used, I just can't find them, and am afraid to get a mix matched set that won't line up properly. I've checked the normal places, Summit, Jegs, SS396, Craigslist, EBay, Amazon, here, etc. I haven't looked in the last week or two, but have been looking steadily for the past few months. Anywhere I'm not thinking to look?? I'd really like to be able to take her down the road at least once before the end of summer!! Thanks for the help, and sorry for the re-post of a most likely previously answered question! Oh, also, this is NOT a resto, so I don't care about period correct, etc. just looking to get my car running.
