ARP valve cover stud users,need your help.

If anyone is using these could you measure the width of the nut at the widest point. I assume they have a flange on them.

My valve covers might not take these as space around the hole is limited.

If you go with the hex nuts you will probably have trouble getting the socket in there. If you go with 12-point nuts I think the od on the nuts is 3/8" and with a 1/4 drive socket it should fit anywhere the nut does. HTH.

I use the ARP studs with the 12 pt nuts .no problem on GM cast alum BB valve covers .use SnapOn 5/16th 12 pt deep socket 3/8 drive FWIW

Same setup here...on fabricated aluminum covers. :thumbsup:
