which edelbrocks do you have? I looked up their lower trailing arms, but maybe I looked up the wrong ones. The ones I looked at were rounded at both mounting points...allowing them to pivot(or allowing the axle to pivot more). The lift bars are squared off on the differential side and when the axle rolls, the bar wont pivot with it, but rather push up on the chassis and down on the tires. But, If I looked at the wrong ones and you do in fact have a very similar design edelbrock brand lift bar, than I agree with you that its probably not going to be worthwhile to change.

im pretty sure mine are the rounded ones :( ill have to check tommorrow.

btw this car gets up and goes damn fast with teh 2.73's alone lol.
there are no id numbers on my axle i cant tell wtf it truly is and thats annoying me.

Also traction is a big issue, i cant get any in 1st gear, I dont see how a posi would help, the rear is all over the place with an open diff and i dont see how having both tires spinning would help lol.
As others stated, posi would certainely be a huge help. I went from a 3.08 open to a 3.90 Posi and I spin much much less now than I did before.
