No. Read this. That and does the Legend require cutting a gaping hole in the floor?
Good to know. Do wish they offered a higher first gear option (or an overall close ratio setup).
There is a new "mini ball buster" shifter for the S04 Legend700 since Jon has purchased his unit. I have been requesting this smaller diameter shifter from Legend Gear & Transmission and it is finally a part of every new S04 1968-1972 Chevelle unit. For those asking about the floor pan fit. This is how my LGT700 fit my original floors. The console hump was replaced but everything else is oem. I did trim sightly around the trans just to make sure there was no metal to metal contact.

Hey Wayne, I hope you are doing well?!OK . The shifter location ....... Are you able to use the stock 4 speed console location
1964/65 ???
McLeod M5 = $2795.00I'm thinking for my application the McLeod will be more than adequate. The $2700 vs $5000 + pricetag comes into play as well.
2.66 is a lot better than what I read earlier. That would give me a 10.906 final drive ratio in first which is liveable. And a .69 would give me a final of 2.829 which would be very helpful.1st through 5th Legend700 ratios:
2.66:1, 1.78:1, 1.30:1, 1.00:1, & .69:1
An optional .80:1 OD should be available after September 2015.
In my younger days, I did many full throttle blasts on that road!Ho Jody
All's well for me ,, hope you end is going as planed..... got the new Chevelle on the road last week and the 3:73 on the Muncie on Fleetwood Topton road got me spinning up there as I pass the two Barto ExitsFrom Larry Days place.
