I got a 10-bolt posi rear from a '66 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 for my wife's 66 Chevelle wagon.

The olds rear requires a much larger U-joint than the Chevelle rear, so I'm looking for some type of adapter hybrid U-joint that will fit the stock Chevelle driveshaft and the olds pinion yoke.

Anyone know where I can get one, and more specifically what type I need?

derek, did you check the width of the rear? 66 was the start of wider rears for all but the chevelles, i believe. tom

No, but it's in the car already and the tires have about the same clearance as they did with the '66 Chevy rear... I never checked any dates on it, just going by what I was told.

Anyone? Right now I've got it assembled with just a Chevy U-joint on it so I can drive the car around... only the outer half of the bearing cup is supported by the yoke and U-bolt, so I know it won't take any type of abuse, although it seems to drive just fine if not hammered on (which is tough to do with a 454 and 2400rpm converter :D )

you might need a 1310 to 1330 ujoint, only way to make sure is to measure, but the 1330 has the same diameter cap just wider. autozone sells that one. I got the info here before. its a 1-0134BF if the caps look to be larger in diameter it could be the 1310 to 1350 joint, which would be 5-3022X good luck. Jim
