Good eyeball Ron, ad states he has build sheet still stuck to the top of the fuel tank, proving 396 car, My guess is it is so fragile he could not remove without destroying it. (The partial build sheet)

For as bad as the window frames look I was expecting flintstone floors but they don’t look anywhere near as bad as the windows.

I'm a little surprised the upholstery around the rear glass looks that good, maybe that means nothing, at $8900 he can always go down on price and I'm guessing he will

So If you get it for $890.00, and not the asking price, What would it take in real dollars to turn it into a driver? Buy it for $900.00 bucks and is still a very, very, large sinkhole !
That car, Defines the phrase " Needs some work ", And NO this one will not " Buff Out " !................

It depends a lot on what you consider a driver. Someone could have this car running and driving, but looking a little rough around the edges and painted satin black in their driveway for another $5k if you wanted to.... or you could spend $80,000 on it and have it perfect... or anywhere in-between.

The value of this depends on the condition of the frame.
As clean as those floors look, I'd have no doubts about the frame.

THIRTY Ron? ha..... guess again. maybe if I'm doing all the cutting welding and fitting. If not +10. Although, we've all seen fellas do it up right with less.

I've contacted the seller and requested a photo of the body data tag as well as what remains of the build sheet. Really two very important items that should be in the sale photos. I'm beginning to wonder if this is a 70'? Some underside photos will tell a lot about the true condition of this car also.

Van Nuys car, wrong dash (but the 72 dash is worth something to someone), indeed a Cortez Silver Car, 396, 350 hp car but no vin on build to match.

If it is a real 396SS 350 hp column shift bench seat car what's it worth restored? I personally wouldn't be a bidder, and what $30-40K to bring it back maybe? buyer would have to own a resto shop to do it IMHO...or just want something to throw money away on and be happy like me >:)
