I would if you can afford it. I would definitely drive mine more if it had AC. The ventilation in old cars is terrible when you are sitting still.

I have a 66 Chevelle that I’m getting ready to LS it should I go ahead and put vintage air system in or leave it stock ? I really hate to cur holes in the dash. Opinions welcomed.
They have under dash vents so you don't have to cut your dash.
If your going to do it, the time is now. it is so much easier with the engine out to do all the firewall work and route the hoses.

Go to vintage air website and read the instructions on their kit. Make sure its what your willing to do to install it.

Yes, for sure. Since you are going LS - no need to hold back!

I put Classic Auto Air in my 67 and it works great, it's a game changer. I've had a couple issues but the customer service was good. If I did it again I'd probably go VA but I wanted to keep my kick panel vents

I'll tell you why I would use VA instead.
Either system makes your car good and cold.
If you don't live somewhere you need full blast cold, always, the CAA is not what you want. Their blend control is useless. If you need medium or a bit of heat only, you'll be moving the controller non stop for your whole trip. It changes temps even if you leave it in one place.

Tech told me my heater hoses were installed incorrectly. Waited for the end of the season, swapped em around, by the spring warranty was over....perfect......for them.
