which style is correct for a 70? the one with "by chevrolet" UNDER chevelle or AFTER chevelle. the repo cataloges say under but the picture in the color history of chevelles show a blue 70 with it after.
thanks, dick

great. so the picture in the book is incorrect and has a newer one on it. so heres another question.
on the 70 what is the placement of the emblem? it isnt shown in the assembly manual. my trunk lid is drilled for a 71-72. so does the "C" in chevelle still start in the same place or is the entire emblem moved over so the "T" in chevrolet ends in the same place? anyone have a picture?
thanks, dick

That blue chevelle is a joke-wrong trunk emblem look where someone put the fender emblems-thats just a few errors on this car-the red book of chevelles has a 70 SS with amber light in the front bumper -should be clear-lots of books out there with wrong input-keep on cruisin-Dave.

Just emailed you a picture with dimensions. Very useful! Got it from someone here but can't remember who... so I can't credit them for their good work.

what is interesting to me is how close its to the back edge of the trunk. i was wondering how to put on the 2 speed nuts on the "chevrolet word" but now i see that it is so close to the edge they arent on the double walled part of the trunk. thanks again!!
regards dick
