Hello All,

About 6 years ago my wife and I purchased my parents '70 SS clone Chevelle. They were the second owners since 1975. Dad did the cloning in the nid 80s. This car was originally from Texas, my mom was a hairdresser who worked from home. The point, this car was never driven in the snow and this car is 100% rust free with all the original sheet metal. It does have a GM domed hood and we have the original flat hood.

The stats:

350ci 250hp
TH350
air conditioning
bench seat
green interior and non original green metalic exterior
car is NOT undercoated
117,000 miles
4 speaker stereo
dash clock
drum brakes non power

This car is not for sale, we are just curious of the value.

Thanks for the replies.

I would agree that it is by no means a clone. It is a Malibu with a few SS badges on it; exactly like my son's car.

Our 70 Malibu is black cherry with white stripes on the SS hood, a black interior and other than that pretty much exactly like yours depending on the condition yours is in. I would rate ours as a pretty decent daily driver. No rust, no body damage, great interior (black) and a 15 foot paint job. 307 cid, auto trans, bench seat and runs like a top. It is very reliable and a really comfortable car.

I paid $7000 for it a year ago, but would not sell it for that. I live in Oregon; hope this helps.

This car will have much more sentimential value to you than it will ever bring. If it was ordered with a gage dash would help, power window stuff like that. If its a plain malibu somewheres around 8-12k. If the car is super nice and somebody really wants it maybe 14k. That would be very close to top money and somebody would have to really want it. I'm talking ebay price and not team chevelle price which will be lower. I seen a candian malibu this year bring 19k but it had factory buckets console rally wheel with the 300hp 350 with a 12 bolt and the car looked show room new and with canadian documentation.
