I have come across a complete 1967 big block smog setup it is currently still attached to the engine & appears complete even with original stampings? So the question is what is it worth? & also is there any differences between a 67 & 68 smog setup for a big block ?

Not completely sure on HP ratings & yes still has chrome valve covers. Is there a difference between 67 & 68 smog systems based on HP output?
I don't know about '67's, but in '68 and '69 the only different part was the right side AIR pipe that goes in the exhaust manifold. A/C equipped cars had a different pipe than non-A/C cars due to interference with the evaporator case. HP output didn't play any part.
325 HP automatic transmission cars were not equipped with the AIR style smog control. All manual transmission equipped cars and all 350 HP and 375 HP cars did have the AIR equipment in '68 and '69.

I am not familiar with '68, but in '67 there are some differences depending on H.P rating. Open element air cleaner cars used a different air cleaner base and the diverter valve is mounted on a special bracket that is spot welded to the right side valve cover and also the holley carb A.I.R.port is at the right rear of the carb. All of this also dictates that the A.I.R. hose set-up is different from closed air cleaner setups. Along with condition, value would depend on how complete the setup is because any missing pieces could be difficult to find and I would think that the L34/L78 open air cleaner setups would be significantly more valuable than L35.

yeah Dale is were I was going with the valve covers. Dale tell me if I'm wrong but the 325 hp hoses came in from the back on the Qjet and had a special bracket on the coil bracket and the 350 hp came in on the side for the Holley. This is on 66-67 not sure what the changes were in 68 and up

Mike, I wanted to check back with you on this thread. Did you acquire this 67 big block smog set up? If so I am looking for a few parts for my 66 CA 4sp smog 396 325hp, especially the right side valve cover that Dale shows in the picture. If you have it or if anyone else has any 66, 67 smog valve cover parts etc. I would be very interested. Thanks!
